how they met:
From the bride: We frequent this French restaurant (George’s) for brunch most Sundays and so meeting for a drink after work that was a normal thing. After running late leaving work, I went straight there (aka no makeup or fresh outfit). Daves asks the waitress to see the specials menu (I’m always the one who asks “are you hungry?” But I still haven’t caught on at this point). Davis is looking at the menu and I feel he is taking forever so I finally start to look and think “hmm none of these are specials, but they are my favorite things here”. And at the bottom it says ‘Katelyn, will you marry me?’. At this point I’m thinking to myself “how awkward, they gave us the wrong menus” and as I look up to tell Davis the funny mix-up, he is down on one knew with this gorgeous ring!
When I met with Katelyn and David last Spring I knew instantly I wanted to photograph them. They are two of the sweetest and most genuine couple I have ever meet… and Katelyn is my spirit animal when it comes to being on top her organization game! I loved photographing these two in Jetton Park at Lake Norman, and cannot wait to photograph them again next spring at The Foundation for the Carolinas. In the meantime, enjoy their gorgeously intimate engagement session.
Leave these two some love, and if this post gets 10 blog comments, they will get a complimentary 8×10″ print of their favorite engagement session image, so leave these two fabulous loves a comment!
